  Rather disappointing! We didnt stay in the main building, our room was 403, smelt musty when we went into it, rather dated, paintwork around doors was grubby and not the cleanest, shower mat fit for the bin, we had a balcony looking out onto the Thames which was nice but from early morning the rowing club is in action so a bit of noise and the balcony and its doors were full of cobwebs and dead bugs Grounds had litter scattered around and broken glasses left of tables. Then to top it off, when we went down for breakfast we were told that there was no hot breakfast due to issues in the kitchen, so there was a choice of tea, coffee, juices, toast, jams, fruit, ham and cheese. My husband was vert disappointed. We did get a refund of £20. Not a great experience, and wouldn't stay here again.

  Really nice hotel. You don't stay in the main white building you stay in a building behind. Welcomed and checked in quickly.
  I would say the hotel needs to have sound proofing around the doors but other then that all good.

  Fabulous location right on the river. Our room was big and bright with fantastic views. There was no air conditioning in the room but staff had already provided two fans and left one on so the room was lovely and cool on a very hot day. The restaurant and bar downstairs has a gorgeous little garden overlooking the river. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms very reasonable.
